Excellently packaged, mounts securely, comes with a cleaning cloth. Sure, you could do these effects in Photoshop, but doing it by hand is more interesting—real magic!)

My only concern is that the holographic coating might scratch easily, even with careful handling. There are cheaper Chinese alternatives, but they’re transparent.

Impressions are purely positive: the prism is perfect for creative ideas, splitting series, multiple exposures, playing with flares, and enhancing dynamics in movement shots. It won’t work for every set, but it takes up minimal space, so you can toss Split in your camera bag and pull it out as needed.

Hello, I wanted to share something with you. At this workshop, I brought all the prisms I have from you. We set up a special table with them, and I showed everyone my favorites and which ones I use.

All the workshop participants tested them and found their own favorites.

Many said: "Oh, I have a regular standard halo and I didn’t buy the colored one because I thought it would just be a blue-red circle. But when I showed them how I apply it from different angles and so on, they all said we need the colored Halo.

Very quality product. I don’t use it often, but it gives interesting effects. One thing to note: before buying, choose the right diameter for your lens. You can always buy step-up rings later, otherwise you’ll get vignetting from the prism-glass on a larger diameter lens.
